This viola was made by C W Curtis in North Devon. It is labelled “Christopher W Curtis, Fecit Ilfracombe, ANNO 2000. No. 17”.
It comes with a Concertante oblong viola case in blue which is in excellent condition. It has Warchal Brilliant C, G and D strings with a soft Larsen A string.
The purfling is inlaid with a maple leaf on the back and the varnish is light gold in colour. Please contact Viva Violins if you would like to try it.
