This violin was most likely made by a highly skilled team of luthiers in Dresden in 1883. It is an excellent quality instrument with a rich burgundy coloured varnish which shows a patina consistent of a violin of this age. It is fitted with Thomastik Rondo Gold strings and is incredibly easy to play with an excellent bow response and well rounded powerful tone across all four strings.
